Magician at Gale

NEWTON —Peter Boie, A Magician for Non-Believers, will kick-off the Gale Library’s Summer Reading Program, “Fizz, Boom, Read” on Wed., June 25, 6:30 p.m. at the Newton Town Hall.

Peter Boie is at home in front of audiences that range in age from 4-104. The performance is 45-50 minutes and is a true family show. From kids to teens, parents and grandparents, everyone will enjoy this interactive, funny and amazing show. It will keep everyone entertained and engaged.

Peter started learning magic at age 11 from a magic book he checked out of his local library. That interest turned into a career as a professional magician which takes him around the country performing for people in all walks of life. He tells that story at every library he performs for…the story of how his local library empowered him to learn his passion.

This is a magic show that will make you gasp in awe, laugh ‘til it hurts, and inspire your imagination. Make sure to mark your calendar.

Funding for the program is through the Gale Library and a Kids, Books, and Arts Grant provided by the Jack and Dorothy Bryne Foundation, CHILIS, Cogswell Benevolent Trust, and is supported in part by a grant from the NH State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts as well as funds administered by the NH State Library and provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
