SANDOWN - Enjoy stories, songs, activities and crafts at Storyhours. They will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend.

This month’s movie stars Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin as two strangers drawn together under incredible circumstances. What starts as an unforeseen encounter over a long holiday weekend soon becomes a second chance love story. The library will have two showings on Mon., June 9. Light refreshments will be served at our 1:00 p.m. showing, and pizza at our 5:30 p.m. showing.

Rockingham Community Action will be at the Sandown Public Library on Wed., June 11, at 6:30 p.m., to assist NH homeowners with Revenue form DP-8. Residents with low or moderate income should bring their 2013 tax return, December 2013 tax bill, and if your property is in trust bring the trust documents.

The Cribbage and Card Club will meet Tuesday, June 3 and 17, at 6:00 p.m. This is for adults who enjoy playing a friendly game of cribbage or 45s. New players are always welcome.

This month’s book discussion is “Four Spirits” by Sena Jeter Naslund. Weaving together the lives of blacks and whites, racists and civil rights advocates, and the events of peaceful protest and violent repression, Sena Jeter Naslund creates a tapestry of American social transformation at once intimate and epic. Pick up your copy at the library and join us on Tues., June 17, at 6:30 p.m.
