HAMPSTEAD - Adult Storytime at the Hampstead Public Library is on Fri., June 6, at 10:00 a.m. This program is designed for developmentally disabled patrons, but all adults are welcome to attend. We read books and do a craft. This is the last Adult Storytime of the season. Sessions will resume in September.

PAWS TO READ - Johnny Claude the Listener Dog is at the Library on Mon., June 9, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. He is a certified therapy dog who loves to listen to kids read, tell stories, or act out a book. Schedule a fifteen minute session with Johnny Claude, by signing-up at the library’s front desk or calling the library at 329-6411. Adults are also welcome to visit with Johnny Claude. During the summer, Johnny Claude takes a vacation, then Paws to Read resumes in the fall.

BOOK SWAP PARTY - Share your love of books; come to the Book Swap Party on Tues., June 10, from 6:30 to 8;00 p.m. At this event for adults, enjoy good conversation, peruse the swap table, and a take home a book. Please bring one or more gently used books to exchange. Refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring a dessert to share. The librarian will also reveal news about new and upcoming book releases. Sign up at the library’s front desk or email jarden@hampstead.lib.nh.us.

CHARMINGFARE PASSES - It’s a great time for outdoor family adventures! The Hampstead Public Library has free passes that library cardholders can use for admission to the Charmingfare Farm. Each pass admits up to 8 people at a significant discount. You must reserve the pass by calling 329-6411 or via the website, www.HampsteadLibrary.org. The library also has passes for Strawbery Banke, Stone Zoo, Franklin Park Zoo, and so much more! Thanks to the Friends of the Library, the Mother’s Club, and the Civic Club for funding the library’s many discount museum passes.
