Fraud Prevention

STRATHAM — The Wiggin Memorial Library in Stratham will host AARP Fraud Prevention in NH: Top Frauds and Scams on Wed., May 28, at 1:00 p.m. AARP New Hampshire has organized a volunteer corps of Fraud Fighters dedicated to educating Granite Staters on the 3 R’s of fraud: recognize, resist and report. The presenters will educate people about the top frauds and scams in NH.

The 30-40 minute presentation is free, open to the public, and appropriate for any age group and their families, and will cover a variety of topics: top frauds and scams, elderly as targets, guarding personal information, identity theft, and resources available to protect consumers.
