STRATHAM — Did you know that you can take online courses for credit, prepare for the SAT test, reserve books, download free ebooks, music, movies, audiobooks, and much more for free with your Library Card on the Wiggin Memorial Library’s website?
Bring your library card (and your laptop or mobile device if you’d like) to the Wiggin Memorial Library in Stratham on Wed., May 21, at 6:00 p.m., to get introduced to the library’s Website and your online library account. “We’ll explore all the resources you can access for free and go over the many ways you can use your library card to manage what you are reading and what you have read,” said Lesley Kimball, Library Director and workshop presenter. “Many people don’t know that they can put their reserved titles ‘on hold’ when they go on vacation or how to look at what they have checked out in the past,” Kimball added. Register for the session at the library’s online calendar (library.strathamnh.gov).
Technology sessions at the library are intended to help people use the library’s e-resources and enjoy using technology. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and to share tips and tricks they have learned. Other scheduled topics include Facebook for Beginners, iPad and Tablet Basics, Taking Online Classes through Universal Class, Creating Legal Documents with LawDepot, Online Language Learning with Transparent Language, Enjoying Online Magazines, and more.
Visit the library’s events calendar at http://library.strathamnh.gov to see upcoming programs. All sessions are free and open to the public and welcome people at all levels of experience. The library is in the Stratham Municipal Center, 10 Bunker Hill Avenue.
