Join us for a Spring Woods Walk on Sat., May 10, at 10:00 a.m., on the Kingston Community Library Nature Trail designed and constructed by Girl Scout Troop #10528. Identify trees Identify trees and plants, observe wildlife tracks and signs, and listen for bird song. Children under eight years old must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required. Start a reading tradition with your daughter with a Mother-Daughter Book Club which will meet Tues., May 13, at 6:00 p.m. This month’s book is “Among the Hidden” by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Light refreshments will be provided.
Spring is finally here! Gardeners, take note. The Friends of the Kingston Community Library is having its second annual plant sale on May 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at 2 Library Road in Kingston. We welcome donations of plants from community members’ gardens. Please pot and label each plant (labels will be available at the library). They should be dropped off at the library the week before the sale. Proceeds from the sale will help fund library needs.
