PLAISTOW - Did you know we now offer Notary Public services at the Plaistow Public Library? Please see Raven for this service.

Tuesdays now offer Baby Lap-sit for ages 0-2 at 10:00 am. Friday Toddler Time is at 10:00 a.m. We will be showing our Family Movie “Frozen” on May 2, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

The Friends of the Library will be hosting their Annual Book Sale on May 10 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Come by and find a treasure! Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library, which in turn benefits the Plaistow Public Library.

For all Kids, nonreaders through high school, we have our Passport to Genres Reading Program. Last day to turn in Passports is May 2. Winners will be notified the week of May 5.

New Book Groups: choose one or both. The “Defending Jacob” by William Landay book group will meet to discuss the book on May 14, at 10:30 a.m. “Evil Agreement” by Richard Hatin book group will meet May 21, at 6:30 p.m., with a visit from the author to discuss the book. Copies of these books are available for check out before hand.

Card Making with Colleen Ferrante is back on May 15 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. You will make 8 cards, 2 of each design. Materials fee is $15.00; please bring scissors and adhesive. Adults only - and the demo starts promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Did you know you can check out music at the library? My have many CD’s of all different kinds of music to choose from.

Magazines! We have many different topics of magazines to check out. Adults, teens, and kids are all covered.
