Local Artists Wanted

EAST KINGSTON — If you are a local resident, we want your artwork on a Spring theme! The East Kingston Public Library has a lovely display area and would like to share it with local artists. We want to set up an exhibit on the theme of spring, starting March 27. If you are an art student or professional we welcome your work. We have display panels that measure 28” x 68”. Each artist can have one panel to exhibit their two dimensional work: photography, paintings, prints, notecards or small fiber art pieces. You are encouraged to include price and contact information, business cards and a brief bio. If you accept commissions or have an Etsy shop, this is your opportunity to advertise it.

The panels will be assigned on a first come basis.

Please contact Tracy Waldron, Library Director or Diane Sheckells, Assistant Librarian at 603-642-8333 to set up an appointment. We do have an arts policy sheet that will need to be signed by the artist. All work must be original. Work will need to be dropped off before March 27, and will be on exhibit until April 28.

We look forward to seeing some exciting work and the chance to support our arts community.
