---- — HAMPSTEAD - The next Books for Breakfast at the Hampstead Public Library takes place on Sat., March 16, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. This event is designed to give families a chance to spend time together in a warm and inviting atmosphere. No sign-up is necessary. Drop in and enjoy books, crafts, hot drinks and breakfast all for free!

CPR CLASS - CPR Certification Class will be offered at the Hampstead Public Library on Tues., March 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This class is for anyone who is not a healthcare provider. It includes adult and child CPR, choking and AED training. The fee for this class is $40.00. Upon completion of this 2-hour class, participants will earn an American Heart Association 2 year CPR certification. Class space is limited. Advance registration and payment is required. FOOD FOR FINES - March is “Food for Fines” month at the Hampstead Public Library. If you incur a library fee during the month of March 2013, you can bring in non-perishable foods, toiletries, or paper goods and we will forgive your fine. Simply bring in your donation with your overdue items, and like magic, your fine will disappear. You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that you helped the food pantry, which is very much in need of donations. The library will give all donated goods to the Hampstead Ecumenical Food Pantry located at St. Anne’s Church.

COMPUTER TUTOR - Great news! Computer tutoring has returned to the Hampstead Public Library! One-on-one sessions will be available each Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. The sessions will be tailored to meet your specific needs. This may include, but is not limited to, setting up an e-mail account, creating a Word document, learning how to post an item on e-Bay, or learning how to download an audio or e-book. You may bring in your laptop, e-reader, MP3 players, smart phone, etc. Feel free to ask questions, even “How do I use a mouse?” Please sign up for your 30 minute appointment by calling the library at 329-6411 or emailing circulation@hampstead.lib.nh.us.

NEW ART EXHIBIT - During the months of March and April, artwork created by Hampstead Academy students will be on display in the Hampstead Public Library’s second floor meeting room. The art is created in a variety of mediums by a variety of ages (preK through grade 8 students.) The exhibit is open to the public through the end of April, except when there is a meeting in the room.
