EXETER - The Exeter Public Library (EPL) will exhibit picture book illustrations of “A Tail of Two Kitties” by Libby Chase through December in the Children’s Room.
Libby Chase is an Illustrator, a Graphic Designer, and a Teacher of Art & Design at local New Hampshire colleges. She has worked at a well-established Graphic Design/Package Design firm in Melrose, MA where she built her foundation in the creative process of art and design. She currently runs her own small design company creating design and illustration work. Hand-drawn and color illustrations are imported and then integrated into computer design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
The exhibit at the library is an arrangement of 10 of the original illustrations from the children’s picture book, “A Tail of Two Kitties”. The book was inspired by Eddie Moore’s, the author’s, two cats - Rusty and Sparky and describes their adventure with antonyms, homonyms and synonyms. The pages selected to be displayed include Rusty & Sparky from being “the Best of cats” to “the Worst of cats.”
The library is located in historic downtown Exeter, at 4 Chestnut Street. For additional information please call the library at 772-6036.
