STRATHAM —Wiggin Memorial Library and the Stratham Parks and Recreation Department welcome the Granite State Zoo on Fri., July 26, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Stratham Municipal Center Community Room (10 Bunker Hill Avenue). “I Dig Animals” is a fun and interactive presentation where kids and families will have the opportunity to connect with nature with the assistance of six Ambassador Animals. Attendees will explore what healthy soil and dirt are, what lives there, and what makes it great. They will also meet live animals that love to dig and live on or under the ground. Granite State Zoo’s mission is to connect children and adults with animals and nature while demonstrating and inspiring responsible stewardship of our planet’s global biodiversity.
This event is part of Wiggin’s seven-week Summer Reading Program, Dig Into Reading!, and the Town of Stratham Parks and Recreation Summer Kids offerings and is free and open to the public.
