East Kingston Library News

EAST KINGSTON —Our summer reading program is well under way. It is wonderful to see all the beakers and test tubes on our bulletin board with the names of the many participants.

Check out our Facebook page for up to the minute information on the many, many projects and programs coming soon.

The children’s museum comes to the library on Thurs., July 17 at 2:00 p.m. The Dover museum has made a commitment to literacy and this year’s program stresses recycling, saving the earth and learning about the human footprint through hands on projects.

The hands-on theme continues when we share historical artifacts from the Revolutionary war period on Sat., July 26 at 2:00 p.m.

From muskets to currency - nothing brings history alive like the tactile experience.

After your interest has been peaked by these great programs...continue your learning with books on science and history.

From preschool to adult you can explore the world of facts with stimulating biographies, historical novels and fun fact books.

Join the fun at the library today!
