STRATHAM — The Wiggin Memorial Library in Stratham will host “When Shipping was King: The Piscataqua Region in Colonial America” on Tues., April 9 at 6:30 p.m. In this richly illustrated talk, Professor Jeffrey Bolster develops connections between shipbuilding, seafaring, slavery, this presentation reconstructs the Piscataqua region’s maritime role in the far-flung British Empire prior to the American Revolution.
