---- — EPPING —It’s time for the annual Toy Sale to benefit the library’s summer reading program. On Sat., June 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the children’s room will be stocked full of clean, gently used toys, games, baby and toddler items and sports equipment at bargain prices. Donations will be accepted and stored off site until Fri., June 21 when the children’s room will be closed as volunteers set up for the sale on Saturday.

A summer of Digging into Reading will begin with registration week, June 24-29 and continue through most of August. As in past years, Epping readers will be asked to record their reading time and will get compensated $1.00 in library currency to spend in the SRP Store which opens July 9. Weekly crafts, challenges and special events will begin the week of July 8 and give young patrons something different to try each time they visit the library during the summer. Assisted by middle school volunteers the staff looks forward to a fun summer of reading and ways to “dig into” history, archeology, gardening, underground animals, geology and new interests!
