---- — NEWTON — Teen Read Week will be celebrated October 13-19. Your library has a collection of books with appeal to many interests. Don’t see that we have what you’re looking for? Just let us know and we will be happy to review your request to purchase or borrow from another New Hampshire library.

Evening Book Group will meet on Mon., October 21 at 6:00 p.m. Discussion will be held on the book, “The Light Between Oceans” by M.L. Stedman. Copies are located at the front circulation desk for those who would like to attend the meeting, or as an independent read.

For those who already have signed up, a reminder that Chef Arnold Joy will present his Hawaiian cooking information session on Wed., October 23, at 6:00 p.m.

June Dunne will be at the Country Pond Fish and Game for another fun-filled Pumpkin Carving event! Stop by with a cleaned-out pumpkin on Mon., October 28 at 6:00 p.m. and create your own work of art.

We will be showing a favorite seasonal movie on Wed., October 30 at 1:30 p.m. Join us to enjoy “Disney’s Spooky Buddies” on this early release day from school. The movie is rated G and runs for 88 minutes. Popcorn will be served, but please bring along your own beverage and/or additional snacks.
