By Sarah Sycz Jaworski

KINGSTON — Be part of Teen Tech week in March! Come to the library, create your own computer game, eat pizza, play the games you create and vote on a winner on Wed., March 13, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The winner’s game will be featured in our Computer Game Tournament on Sat., March 16, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Enter the tournament and play a game created by a fellow teen! We will provide pizza and prizes. Sign up is required for both events.

The Friends of The Library will host their semi-annual voting Bake Sale on Tues., March 12 (during Elections) at Swasey Gymnasium.

The Friends will be selling all types of tasty baked goods, as well as soup and chili. Donation of baked goods are always welcome.

Please drop off your donations at the library by Mon., March 11 at 6:00 p.m. To sign up, call 642-3521 or email friends@kingston-library.org.

What better way to spend the last day of winter break (Fri. March 1) than a Harry Potter Marathon? We will start with the first movie when we open at 10:00 a.m. and continue on into the night (11:00 p.m.)! Pizza will be served around 12:00, 6:00, and 10:00 p.m. Popcorn and beverages will be available all day and night!

Have you ever heard of a Peep-o-Rama? It’s a diorama using marshmallow peeps! And what better way to build your set than with Rice Crispy Treats?

Come join Miss Sue on Fri., March 8, 4:00 p.m. in the library’s kitchen to bake these delicious treats and play with them too!

School is out for the day on March 15, so visit the library at 2:00 p.m. for an exciting animal show, presented by the New Hampshire Audubon Society.

We will compare the similarities and differences between reptiles and amphibians in this look at New Hampshire’s scaly and slimy creatures.

Live animals and props will demonstrate some amazing characteristics of these cold-blooded critters.

There are a limited number of seats, so signup is required.

For more information on library services, please call 642-3521 or visit us at www.kingston-library.org.
