KINGSTON —Kingston has some amazing natural beauty. Stop by the library throughout the month of April to view feature photographs by photographer and Kingston resident Kevin Daniel Talbot. View images of Kingston including Kingston State Park, Powow Pond and Great Pond, Kingston Town Forests and Webster Wildlife Preserve. There are landscapes, as well as photos of flora and fauna. You don’t want to miss these amazing photographs from our amazing town!
Did you know the library is open until 8:00 p.m. three nights a week (Tues., Wed., and Thurs.)? Stop in after work, grab a book, movie, or magazine. Or end the evening by the fire with a cup of Joe (only $0.75) and today’s paper. Better yet bring the kids in their PJs and read a bedtime story, then let the kids pass out in the car on the ride home.
The stretching continues with Chair Yoga for adults on Thursdays, April 11 and 25 at 10:00 a.m. Learn ways to gently stretch and strengthen your core in a low impact class for seniors and those with mobility issues. Cheryl carefully selects poses that are safe for everyone and works with your body to provide challenges or modifications when needed. There is a $5.00 suggested donation.
