KINGSTON — Looking for Holiday gift ideas? Then stop by the Friends of the Library Holiday Raffle at Kingston Community Library! The raffle features items made by local artisans and artists such as jewelry, wood and metal work, table runners, scarves, photography, paintings, gift certificates to local businesses and much more! Don’t delay! December 19 is the last day to enter. Tickets are a $1.00 each or six for $5.00 - simply drop the tickets in the bags with the same number as the items you want - that way you are only entering for a chance to win items you want! Let the shopping begin!

Local artists, including Dannielle Genovese, will display their artwork in varying medias for all to enjoy from December 6-10.

Ms. Karen hosts Pre-school story time, and hour of stories and crafts every Thursday at 12:30 a.m. Don’t miss the fun.

Don’t miss our Holiday Party and Family Movie Night on Fri., December 21. The evening begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 5:30 p.m. Ms. Sue will bring you an event not to be missed! Celebrate the holiday season with this beloved book-made-movie. We will have hot cocoa, holiday crafts, and potluck dinner! Listen closely and you might just hear the ringing bells of Santa’s sleigh. Parents are encouraged to bring a holiday dish for dinner. To sign up for potluck dishes, please contact Ms. Sue at childrensprogram@kingston-library.org. All ages are welcome!

  • Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown, 66

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
