THIRD THURSDAY BOOK DISCUSSION - On March 21st at 1:00 p,m., the Hampstead Public Library’s Third Thursday Book Group will discuss: “Claude & Camille: a Novel of Monet” by Stephanie Cowen. This novel follows Monet to Paris where, as a young dreamer, he was intent on creating a new style of art. When Camille comes into his life, she becomes his best friend, his muse and the mother of his children. A vivid portrait of the rise of Impressionism and the artist at the center of the movement, this novel is above all a love story of the highest order. Books can be obtained at the library’s front desk. Newcomers are always welcome to the meetings.
