KINGSTON –There is still time to enter the Friends of the Library Holiday Raffle. The raffle features items made by local artisans and artists such as jewelry, wood and metal work, table runners, scarfs, photography, paintings, and much more including gift certificates to local businesses! Tickets are a $1.00 each or six for $5.00, or $10.00 for an arm’s length! Simply drop the tickets in the bags with the same number as the items you want- that way you are only entering for a chance to win items you want! Let the shopping begin! Join us and Cheryl Rossman for Let’s Get Movin’! a yoga program for children that integrates movement and music while stretching and strengthening the body on Fri., December 14 at 3:30 p.m. Breathing techniques are taught to help with anxiety, stress and relaxation. Yoga is a wonderful addition to or an alternative for other physical activities. Athletes will benefit from the stretching of muscles that are used to play sports. Children who experience anxiety will benefit from breathing techniques that calm. All ages are welcome!
Don’t miss our Holiday Party and Family Movie Night on Fri., December 21. The evening begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 5:30 p.m. Ms. Sue will bring you an event not to be missed! Celebrate the holiday season with this beloved book-made-movie. We will have hot cocoa, holiday crafts, and potluck dinner! Listen closely and you might just hear the ringing bells of Santa’s sleigh.
