---- — HAMPSTEAD - Books for Breakfast at the Hampstead Public Library takes place on Sat., February 16, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. This event is designed to give families a chance to spend time together in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Come enjoy books, crafts, hot drinks and breakfast all for free.

MOVIE NIGHT AT LIBRARY - The Hampstead Public Library invites you to a movie showing on Tues., February 19, at 6:30 p.m. In this recent film, Clint Eastwood stars as Gus Lobel, one of the best scouts in baseball. Despite his efforts to hide it, age is starting to catch up with Gus and it is having an impact on his job. The one person who might be able to help him is the one person Gus would never ask, his daughter Mickey (Amy Adams.) Forced to spend time together for the first time in years, each makes new discoveries – revealing truths about their past and present which could change their future. CROSS STITCHING WORKSHOP - The Hampstead Public Library will have a “Getting Started with Cross Stitch” Workshop on Tues., February 26, at 1:00 p.m. Get to know this wonderful needlework art on a beginner’s level by stitching a project that will be completed in one session. Find out how to prepare material and threads. Learn to center and begin your design, as well as how to stitch in different directions. Stitches learned will be cross stitch and backstitch. All cross stitch materials and handouts will be included. Please bring a small pair of scissors and a hands-free magnifier if you need one. CPR CLASS- CPR Certification Class will be offered at the Hampstead Public Library. There are two sessions available: Tues., March 5 and Tues., March 26; both classes will run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. These classes are for anyone who is not a healthcare provider. It includes adult and child CPR, choking and AED training. The fee for this class is $40.00. Upon completion of this 2-hour class, participants will earn an American Heart Association 2 year CPR certification. Class space is limited. Advance registration and payment is required.
