Kimball Library News

---- — ATKINSON — Don’t be caught without a museum pass the week of your child’s vacation. It’s worth planning ahead for a little culture and playtime, and vacation week is a popular interval for our museum passes to fly out the door. Our savvy patrons who read the paper get a jumpstart on the rush. Any active Kimball Library card-holder can have access to the following passes if they are reserved in time: Currier Museum of Art, Imajine That, SEE Science Center, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, Peabody Essex Museum, Seacoast Science Center, and Zoo New England. It couldn’t be easier to have a discounted or free day out, depending on the museum of your choice. Passes may be reserved online, on our website, or you may call and ask us to reserve them for you. Make plans today.

The Atkinson Garden Club is hosting a meeting at the library that is open to the public on Wednesday, April 3, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. ‘Bees and Beekeeping’ will be the topic of interest. Barbara Lawler, an apiarist in Bow, and current vice president of the Capital Area Beekeepers Association will use PowerPoint to explain the art of beekeeping and its environmental benefits. Refreshments will be available starting at 6:00 p.m., and the program begins at 6:30 p.m.

Stay tuned as we have another full vacation week of events on the horizon (April 22-26). Bookmark Wed., April 26, at 6:30 p.m. Curious? Read all about it next week. JTop of FormBottom of Form
