---- — EPPING ― Aspiring artists take note, this month’s crafter’s workshop will be on Sat., February 23, 2:00 p.m. and will feature simple watercolor painting. Donna Camara has returned to Epping and will lead participants in creating a lovely 8”x10” painting of white birch trees. Pre-registration is required, along with a $5.00 fee to cover the costs of materials. Call 734-4587 for more information and to register.
Neverland Pajama Night has been rescheduled for Fri., February 22. Families with children ages 2-8 are invited to wear their PJs for Peter Pan and Tinkerbell crafts, a scavenger hunt through the familiar scenes of “Neverland” and songs and stories with Miss Tracie at the end of the evening. Guests are asked to bring something for the snack table whether it’s an easy bag of something crunchy, a plate of fruit or homemade sweets, so everyone will find something they like.
During the week of February vacation the library will offer free movies on the big screen at 1:00 p.m. each afternoon. Children must be accompanied by a responsible big person. Check the library website for the schedule as it becomes available.
Plans are in the works for a Teen Volunteer Lock In on Fri., March 1. Beginning at 7:00 p.m., teens who have volunteered or are interested in volunteering during the summer reading program are invited to come to the library for movies, pizza, friendship and brainstorming activities to start planning the summer of 2013. When the library closes to the public at 8:00 p.m. the teens and their adult chaperones will ‘own’ the library until pick-up time at 11:00 p.m. For more information or to volunteer to help chaperone, contact Miss Tracie at 679-5944 or email@example.com. Epping’s public library is open Mon.-Fri., from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sat., 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The library will be closed on Mon., February 18 in honor of President’s Day.
