---- — KINGSTON —Cheryl Rossman, trained yoga instructor from Let’s Get Movin! Yoga and Nutrition, will share with us ways to gently stretch and strengthen your core during Chair Yoga on Thurs., February 28, from 10:00-10:45 a.m. This is an easy low impact class for seniors and those with mobility issues. No need to get on the floor: the entire class takes place from your chair! It’s a social event! There is a $5.00 suggested donation.
Be part of Teen Tech week in March. Come to the library, create your own computer game, eat pizza, play the games you create, and vote on a winner on Wed., March 13, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The winner’s game will be featured in our Computer Game Tournament on Sat., March 16, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Enter the tournament and play a game created by a fellow teen! We will provide pizza and prizes. Sign up is required for both events.
Book Babies, a story time class of literacy skills for children 0-36 months continues on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Don’t miss Pre-school story time, an hour of stories and crafts every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. On February 28 Pre-school story time will feature a story and craft about happy birds!
Family Movie Night on February 22 at 5:30 p.m., will feature a free screening of a new released family friendly DVD and popcorn. Don’t miss Family Game Night on Fri., February 26 at 4:30 p.m., featuring pizza and games! Come with your own game or play one of ours! Video games, board games, and card games all encouraged!
What better way to spend the last day of winter break (Fri., March 1) than a Harry Potter Marathon? We will start with the first movie when we open at 10:00 a.m. and continue on into the night (11:00 p.m.)! Pizza will be served around 12:00, 6:00, and 10:00 p.m. Popcorn and beverages will be available all day and night!
