---- — HAMPSTEAD - There will be no Storytime or Mother Goose on the Loose during school vacation week (Feb 25th to March 1st) at the Hampstead Public Library. Patrons are welcome to come in and use the children’s room facilities, which include books, computers, Legos, trains, puppet house, magnetic wall art and more.

FREE FAMILY MOVIE MATINÉE — In honor of Dr Seuss’s March birthday, the Hampstead Public Library encourages patrons to rediscover and check out his books. Plus, on Sat., March 9 , at 12:30 p.m., the library will have a “Brown Bag Lunch” matinee featuring a movie based on one of Seuss’s popular tales. This animated adventure follows the journey of a boy as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it, he must first discover the story of Truffula trees and the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his natural world. This movie provides wonderful entertainment for the whole family. It is free and open to the public. You are welcome to pack a lunch or snack and bring it along.
