---- — HAMPSTEAD - Adult Storytime at the Hampstead Public Library in the month of February will be on Friday the first and on Friday the 15th at 10:00 a.m. This program is designed for developmentally disabled patrons, but all adults are welcome. We will read books and do a craft.

FREE YOGA - There is a free chair yoga class at the Hampstead Public Library on Tues., February 5, from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. This monthly class features non-impact exercises that are beneficial for men and women, teens and adults. Participants move at their own pace, sitting, standing, or using a chair for support. The instructor is Maggie Morgan from the Yoga Room in Hampstead.

MOVIE NIGHT AT LIBRARY - The Hampstead Public Library invites you to a movie showing on Tues., February 19, at 6:30 p.m. In this recent film, Clint Eastwood stars as Gus Lobel, one of the best scouts in baseball. Despite his efforts to hide it, age is starting to catch up with Gus and it is having an impact on his job. The one person who might be able to help him is the one person Gus would never ask, his daughter Mickey (Amy Adams.) She joins him on his latest scouting trip, jeopardizing her own career to save his. Forced to spend time together for the first time in years, each makes new discoveries – revealing truths about their past and present which could change their future. This movie screening is free and open to the public. The library will provide light snacks. For questions or directions call the library at 329-6411.

ELECTRONIC BOOK ADVANTAGE - When it comes to eBooks, Hampstead Public Library cardholders have an advantage – Overdrive Advantage. Via the NH Downloadable Books Consortium library patrons can access thousands of eBook and audiobook titles for free. However, popular titles often have long waiting lists. In an effort to shorten the wait for its patrons, the Hampstead Public Library now subscribes to the enhanced resource, OverDrive Advantage. This means that there are copies of some books which are available only to Hampstead Library cardholders. Recently acquired Advantage titles include: “Gone Girl,” “A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows,” “Heaven is for Real” and “Wild.” In order to find these titles, simply long onto the NH Library OverDrive website (easily accessed via an icon on the Hampstead Library’s homepage, www.HampsteadLibrary.org.) The Advantage collection titles are visible and accessible only to Hampstead Public Library patrons (when you sign on with your 14-digit card number,) and are indicated by a gold checkmark icon.
