---- — HAMPSTEAD – “Books for Breakfast” returns to the Hampstead Public Library on Sat., October 13, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. This program is designed to give families more time together. The library will have crafts, books to share, and delicious breakfast foods. On October 13th, we’ll also have special guests, Miss Laura and Miss Gloria from the Hazel Drive Early Childhood Center. They will be doing fun playdough activities with the children. Make the library part of your weekend routine by joining us at Books for Breakfast on the second and fourth Saturday morning of each month. Everyone who attends will have a chance to win a great prize. This program series is made possible by a grant from Target.

FIRE PREVENTION WEEK STORYTIME - On Mon., October 15, at 10:00 a.m., the Hampstead Public Library will welcome special guests for Storytime. Firefighters from the Hampstead Fire Department will talk about fire safety. Kids will have a chance to see the fire truck up close and ask the firefighters questions. Plus, kids will hear great stories and do a craft. No advance sign-up is necessary.
