---- — NEWTON —Summer is here and that means that it is once again time to enjoy the season and Dig Into Reading! The library offers reading programs that are suited for all ages. Weekly prizes will be awarded along with exciting programs and activities. Sign-up sheets are available at both circulation desks. A schedule of events is now available at the library and on our Facebook page.

The Yarn Club meets each Friday at 1:00 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon in air-conditioned comfort with a glass of lemonade along with great company! New members are always welcome.

Copies of “Red Hook Road” by Ayelet Waldman are now available for checkout. This title will be discussed on Mon., July 22 at 6:30 p.m.

A warm thank you to the Newton Greenhouse for their generous donation of perennials and pansies to plant in Gale’s Garden! These colorful gifts add a splash of color and are very much appreciated.

A reminder that the library will be closed on Fri., July 5 and Sat., July 6. Be sure to stop in to stock up on books and movies for the Fourth of July holiday!
