NEWTON — Stop by the Gale Library as we celebrate National Library Week (April 13-19). Refreshments provided by the Friends will be at the front circulation desk all week long. We are also offering to waive all fines as well. Don’t miss this opportunity to clear up those overdue accounts!

We are proud to announce that the Sanborn Regional Middle School students in Mrs. Bilodeau’s art class now have their artwork on display on both floors of the Library. View the colorful print designs in the display case and the walls of the J-room.

Book Review Circle will meet on Wed., April 16 at 10:30 a.m., to discuss an independent reading selection. A light morning snack and coffee will be served. New members are welcome to attend anytime!

Cribbage card games are held each Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. If you are unfamiliar with the game, members will be happy to share their knowledge with you.

Family Game Night will be held on Wed., April 16, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Both board games and Wii games will be available to enjoy a game or two with a friend.

The Yarn Club meets each Friday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

The Friends of the Gale Library are selling promotional t-shirts for both children and adults. Prices are $12.50 each for children and $13.50 for adults. Shirts are on display at the Library and also on our Facebook page.
