---- — HAMPSTEAD — How would you like to place the winning bid for a trip to either the Napa Valley or to New Orleans? The Friends of the Hampstead Public Library Auction will have these two trips available for you to bid on at the Granite Rose on November 15. Of course you have to have a ticket to the Auction in order to be eligible to bid on these exceptional donations.

Both trips include airfare, hotel, and special events for two people. Travel dates and times are flexible although each has some blackout dates. You will be responsible for some costs not covered by the donation. There are minimum bids for each tour.

The Napa Valley package includes a stay at the Meritage Resort and Spa, located in a vineyard in the valley, a trip on the famous Napa Wine Train with a gourmet dinner in a 1917 Pullman car, and a private limo wine tour with tastings tailored to your interests. If you are the lucky high bidder for this very special tour of California’s famed wine country you will have a full year to take the trip. You must give the travel agent a minimum of 60 days notice to book it.

The New Orleans package gives you a three-night stay at the Renaissance Pere Marquette Hotel, which is located in walking distance to the French Quarter. You’ll have VIP tickets to Preservation Hall for a jazz concert, dinner for two at Commanders Place, and your airfare. There are a few minor expenses you’ll have to cover yourself.
