FAMILY MOVIE MATINEE - With the cooler weather comes the return of monthly matinees for families at the Hampstead Public Library. On Sat., November 16, at 12 noon, the library will show the Disney/Pixar prequel featuring the characters Mike Wazowski and James “Sulley” Sullivan. Long before they were lurking in closets for a living, Mike and Sulley were just two Scaring majors at University, dreaming of the day they would make children shriek in terror. When their heated competition to be the most fearsome in their class gets out of hand, Mike and Sulley find themselves ejected from the prestigious Scare Program. They are forced to seek the aid of their oddball friends in order to get their education back on track. Adults and kids are invited to join us at the library for this fun family film. Feel free to bring lunch or a snack and get comfortable in front of our big screen.
‘CATCHING FIRE’ PARTY - Attention all eligible tributes (middle school and high school students): You are invited to attend the “Catching Fire” movie release party on Wednesday, November 20 at 6:30pm. Answer trivia questions about the book and earn gifts (food) from sponsors. Feel free to dress as your favorite character. There is no need to sign-up for this event.
