The Plaistow Library’s ongoing cribbage and bridge matches meet on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. Come and play a game with friends. Children may enjoy Friday afternoon LEGOs and Wii starting at 1:00 p.m. Build with our large LEGO collection or challenge yourself to a game of Wii. No registration is required.

On April 8, 6:00-7:00 p.m., youngsters ages 9 and up can come make a colorful, fun Friendship Bracelet to keep or give to a friend. Miss Cara will guide you through the fun process of making your own creation. All materials provided. Registration is required and it’s open to Plaistow Library cardholders.

April 12 is Crafty Kids from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Come drop by to do a themed craft with Miss Cara. Registration is required and is for Plaistow Library card holders. The recommended ages are from 4-12.

April 17 at 6:30 p.m., brings us a visit and presentation from local author and owner of New England Curiousities, Roxie Zwicker. She has been featured on the Travel Channel, the History Channel, and New Hampshire Chronicle. This promises to be a fun evening of spooky tales from Plaistow and the surrounding area in her program called “Stories, Stones, and Superstitions of Southern NH”.

We will be holding an evening discussion about “Until Tuesday” by Luis Carlos Montalván on April 16, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Come by the library in advance for your copy of this heartwarming book – we still have a few copies left. We have copies in regular print, large print, and audio.

Did you know we have a book sale going on inside the library? It is located in the Periodicals section and covers all kinds of topics and various media, including music. The selection is always changing, so come down to check it out. Proceeds benefit the library.
