KINGSTON — Taking time to have a regular family night is a great way to create lasting memories. Join us in the library meeting room for screenings of newly released DVDs! Please bring a potluck snack to share! Pizza and popcorn will be provided! This month, we will watch “Frozen” (rated PG) on Fri., March 28, at 5:30 p.m.

Join us Wed., April 9 at 7:00 p.m., at the Kingston Community Library as Ali Asani, Professor of Indo-Muslim and Islamic Religion and Cultures at Harvard University, leads us through a thoughtful and engaging wrap-up presentation, “Bridging Cultures: Understanding Islam beyond the Headlines”. He will highlight religions as more than just the words of their sacred texts: as living, breathing, dynamic creations that evolve from cultural and social norms, the time in which they exist, and the many different people who practice them. This program was made possible by the NHHC, NEH and ALA.

The library will be showing “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” (rated PG-13) on Fri., April 11 at 5:30 p.m. Why not stop by for a movie and pizza, provided by the Friends of the Kingston Community Library? If means allow, please bring a potluck snack to share!
