PLAISTOW — Visit the library during the month of March to see the artwork of award winning local artist and photographer Susan Kneeland. We also have on display a rather eclectic collection of rubber ducks and beach sands from many different locations, courtesy of Nancy Burke.
Does anyone have a rather cool yo-yo collection we can display? Please contact Cab or Raven at the library if you do!
Did you know we have music CDs that can be checked out? There is quite a selection to choose from – come take a look!
Check out our really quick survey at www.plaistowlibrary.com. This survey is regarding our website and takes just a couple of minutes to complete. Thanks for your help!
March 15 is National Quilting Day. We have a nice collection of quilting books to check out. This is also a good time to check on your family heirloom quilts – make sure they are not in direct sunlight, and if they are folded, refold on different lines. This will help protect the integrity of the fibers.
March 17 is St. Patrick’s Day. Have fun and be safe! Come check out a book or two on Irish lore, Irish cooking, St. Patrick’s Day, “Ireland of the Welcomes” magazine, or a story set in Ireland.
Imajine that! (ages 3-6) will be here Mon., March 17, from 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Card Making with Colleen Ferrante will be Thurs., March 20, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. The demonstration will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and the class is limited to adults only. You will make eight cards – two of each design; materials fee is $15.00. Please bring your own adhesive and scissors.
