---- — KENSINGTON — Jere Daniell, retired Dartmouth College history professor, will give a lively and fascinating historical talk on the New England Town with an emphasis on Kensington on Wed., June 19 at 7:00 p.m. This event is co-sponsored by The Kensington Historical Society and is made possible by a grant from the NH Humanities Council. Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

PAGE TO SCREEN BOOK CLUB: Our book club continues to meet once a month on a Tuesday night. “Labor Day” by Joyce Maynard will be discussed on Tues., June 25 at 6:30 p.m.

ARTIST OF THE MONTH: Kensington is very fortunate to have so many talented, local artists. The Library would like to showcase their work and will be exhibiting them on a monthly rotation.

Local artist, Richard Fyler will exhibit his work during the month of June. He works in a variety of mediums including oils, watercolors, pastels and pen and ink. He has won many awards and is best known in Newburyport, Massachusetts for his architectural renderings and as the designer and builder of the Newburyport Screening Room.

Take KIT home! We have a new item to lend! The American Doll, Kit, can go home with a child for two weeks. She comes with a brush and a journal. Take her out to lunch, to the museum, to the park and write down all your adventures with her. We even have a special bag for her to make it easy for you to travel with her.
