HAMPTEAD — There is a free chair yoga class at the Hampstead Public Library on Tues., June 4, from 3:00-3:45 p.m. This monthly class features non-impact exercises that are beneficial for men and women, teens and adults. Participants move at their own pace, sitting, standing, or using a chair for support. The instructor is Maggie Morgan from the Yoga Room in Hampstead. Please note there will be no yoga classes at the library in July or August.
ADULT STORYTIME: The next Adult Storytime at the Hampstead Public Library will take place on Fri., June 7 at 10:00 a.m. It will be the only session during the month of June. This program is designed for developmentally disabled patrons, but all adults are welcome. We read books, do a craft, and have lots of fun!
PAWS TO READ: Johnny Claude the Listener Dog will be at the Hampstead Public Library on Mon., June 10, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. He is a certified therapy dog who loves to listen to kids read, tell stories, or act out a book. This program is terrific for reluctant readers of any age. You can set up a fifteen minute session with Johnny Claude, by signing-up at the library’s front desk or calling the library at 329-6411. Adults are also welcome to visit with Johnny Claude.
ESTATE PLANNING Q&A: On Wed., June 12 at 7:00 p.m., Christine Windler, Esq., from Cronin, Bisson, & Zalinsky Attorneys at Law, will be at the Hampstead Public Library to give a presentation and answer your questions about the basic components of Estate Planning. Estate planning is for everyone no matter how small or great your assets. It is the process of anticipating and arranging for the care of your dependents and for the disposal of your property. Do you have a will? An advance directive? Durable power of attorney? What are the differences between these documents and which should you have? Ms. Windler can answer these questions and more.
