EXETER — The Cooperative Extension of the University of New Hampshire will present the program “Storm Proofing Your Property: The Effects of Wind, Ice and Snow on Trees, People and Property” on Tues., January 14 at 6:30 p.m., at the Exeter Public Library.
Fred Borman, a field specialist in Natural Resources- Forestry will discuss how different types of storms affect trees and property. He will explain how to make property safer from storm damage, how to properly plant and maintain trees to reduce the chance of damage to property, and explain who to call to assess if a tree is defective.
This program is free and open to the public and will be held in the library’s ground floor meeting room. For more information, call the Exeter Public Library at 772-3101.
