---- — HAMPSTEAD - The Hampstead Public Library (HPL) is pleased to announce the return of the Books for Breakfast program on Sat., January 4 and January 18, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. This event is designed to give families a chance to spend time together in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Come enjoy books, crafts, hot drinks and breakfast.

STORYTIME - Storytime for 3 to 5 year olds, at the Hampstead Library, will resume the week of January 6th. Sessions are on Mondays at 10:00 a.m., and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. No sign up is necessary.

FAMILY MOVIE MATINEE – On Sat.,, January 11, at 12 noon, the Library will have a free family matinee. The feature presentation is the funny animated sequel about the ex-evildoer-turned-parental figure Gru and his three adopted girls. The library will provide some refreshments, but you are welcome to bring your own lunch or snack. For further details, call the library 603-629-6411.

PAWS TO READ - Johnny Claude the Listener Dog will be at the Library on Mon., January 13, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. He is a certified therapy dog who loves to listen to kids read, tell stories, or act out a book. This program is terrific for reluctant readers of any age. You can set up a fifteen minute session with Johnny Claude, by signing-up at the library’s front desk or calling the library at 329-6411. Adults are also welcome to visit with Johnny Claude.

PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS - During the month of January, Adult Storytime at the Hampstead Public Library is scheduled on Fri., January 3 and January 17, at 10:00 a.m. This program is designed for developmentally disabled patrons, but all adults are welcome. We will read books, do a craft, and have lots of fun!

YOGA FOR ADULTS - Make a New Year’s resolution to take better care of yourself and start with a free chair yoga class at the Hampstead Public Library. On Tues., January 7, at 3:00 p.m., men and women are invited to try this fun and relaxing activity. This class is terrific for stretching, strengthening and improving your health. You can sit or stand while moving at your own pace. The instructor is Maggie Morgan from the Yoga Room in Hampstead.
