East Kingston Library News

---- — EAST KINGSTON — Please check our website for upcoming events and scheduling at www.eastkingstonlibrary.org.

Our website is an easy way to access information about our hours, books in the collection and upcoming events. There, you can sign up to be on an email list so that you can receive notices about events of interest to you. If you type in a pin number at the library you can reserve books from our catalogue from home. Interlibrary loan services supply our patrons with access to an expanded catalogue that extends to every library in the NH state system.

Remember especially for school vacation time, that we have many museum passes that patrons can borrow. Each has specific check out requirements but all offer your family great opportunities for exploration. From the Museum of Science in Boston to the Peabody Essex in Salem, history awaits. The Currier and Museum of Fine Arts feature great art getaways. Make a day of it with stops at museum gift shops or cafes.

The director and staff want to extend thanks to all who helped make the Giving Tree a great success. Many children in East Kingston will enjoy gifts this holiday season that might not otherwise have been possible. Patrons also supplied food for both the food pantry and the 68 Hours of Hunger food drive.

Your generosity exhibits the true spirit of the holiday season.
