AARP Presentation on Frauds and Scams will be coming to the Gale Library on Wed., March 19, at 6:30 p.m., presented by Pat Lyons. The best defense against being a victim of frauds and scams is education! According to the Federal Trade Commission, nearly 25 million Americans are victims of consumer fraud each year. The first step people can do to protect themselves against the sophisticated scam artists is education. That is why AARP is hosting a free presentation; open to the public, to teach Granite Staters the three Rs of fraud: recognize, resist and report. A very informing program!
