---- — DANVILLE — It’s cold. There’s too much snow. It gets dark outside before 5:00 p.m., and you can’t even go to your car without five extra layers of clothing on. So before we all do our best Jack Nicholson at the Overlook Hotel impersonations, let’s get inspired about our summer gardens!
Join us on Sat., February 22, at 1:30 p.m., for Liz Barbour’s Creative Feast program, “Cooking with Herbs from Your Garden”. Liz Barbour will be at the Library for a special cooking and gardening demonstration. The presentation includes a virtual tour of the Creative Feast’s gardens, a live cooking and plating demonstration, and an opportunity to taste all of the delicious dishes Ms. Barbour will prepare for us. Please register for this free program by calling or visiting the Library before 6:00 p.m. on Thurs., February 20.
This month’s artist showcase at the Library features the awe-inspiring photography of Barbara Nickerson. Barbara is a local artist with incredible talent. Mrs. Nickerson’s photography will be for sale and on display at the Library throughout the month of February.
The Mystery & Suspense Book Club is reading “Savage Run” by C.J. Box. The book discussion will be held on Thurs., March 6 at 7:00 p.m.
Preschool Storytimes are held on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Bring your little ones to hear stories, sing songs, and make a craft. Please call to register your child at 382-6733.
The Knitter’s and Handcrafter’s Group meets on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. If you don’t know how to knit, we will help you.
