Dig Into Reading at Gale

---- — NEWTON —We are Digging Deep into Reading this summer. Readers, young and old, are registering for the Summer Reading Program at the Gale Library in Newton. There’s a Reading Club and activities for every age, from Read to Me to teens to the Adult Reading Drawing. Prizes and reading incentives galore!

Along with the Reading Club, there are Weekly Storyhours each Tuesday, 10:00 p.m., that will unearth worms, ants, buried treasure, gnomes and fairies, dinosaur eggs and critters in stories, songs and crafts

Friday Flicks are back with “Gnomeo and Juliet” on July 12 at 2:00 p.m. More Flicks on July 20 and August 2. Air Conditioned, big screen, and popcorn, too.

Learn tips, techniques to fashion designs on your fingernails with Nail Art by Jillian on Mon., July 8, at 6:30 p.m. All materials will be available. This program is suitable for children 7 and up. Parents, too.

The Boston Museum of Science is returning to Newton on Wed., July 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. We’ll be Digging Deep into Dinosaurs. Children will think like a paleontologist and explore the world of dinosaurs. Seating is limited so registration is necessary. .

Drop in for Saturday Craft Time each week at 11:00 a.m. Make Dinosaur Crafts, Summertime Journals, and Pirate Hats.

You can sign up to take Sally Squirrel and her journal on your next trip and record all the great fun you have together.
