---- — DANVILLE —All ages can sign up for the Summer Reading Programs at Colby Library in Danville. They have programs for all ages (’Dig Into Reading’, ‘Beneath the Surface’ and ‘Ground Breaking Reads’) and everyone who registers will be eligible for weekly prizes.

Looking for a great chapter book for summer reading? Loved the Harry Potter books? Can’t get enough stories about animals? Need some spine-tingling chills by the campfire? Read all the titles in the “39 Clues” and want more? ‘The staff has suggestions for you! Third, fourth and fifth graders, please can join for “Chapter Chats” on Mon., July 15 at 12:30 p.m. Come talk about books, find out what you like to read and read a few chapters to get you going! Bring a lunch; drinks and dessert will be provided. Sign-up is required by Thurs., July 11. Please call the library at 382-6733.

The Mystery & Suspense Book Club is reading C.J. Box’s, “Open Season”. Stop in and pick up a copy to be discussed on Thurs., August 1 at 7:00 p.m.

Preschool Storytimes are held on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Bring your little ones to hear stories, sing songs, and make a craft. Please call to register your child at 382-6733.

The Knitter’s and Handcrafter’s Group meets on Mondays from 6:30-7:45 p.m. If you don’t know how to knit, help is available.
