GEOCACHING AT LIBRARY: On Wed., July 10 at 2:00 p.m., the Hampstead Public Library has a Geocaching event for students who will be entering middle school. Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS,) or mobile device and other navigational techniques, to hide and seek containers called “geocaches” or “caches.” Participants at this event will learn about this high-tech treasure hunting and the group will create their own geocache. Join us for the fun! No sign-up necessary.
INDIANA JONES PARTY: Kids and parents are invited to an Indiana Jones party at the Hampstead Public Library on Thurs., July 11 at 6:30 p.m. Put yourself in this famous fictional archaeologist’s shoes and complete an obstacle course, play boulder ball and turn your friends into mummies.
