KENSINGTON —Registration for the Summer Reading Program for kids, teens and adults starts on Tues., June 25. Lots of great prizes to win in the summer program and all you have to do is read!

The program starts on July 9 with a Kickoff event at 6:00 p.m. with Michelle’s Menagerie Animal Show. The event will be held next door at the Kensington Elementary School.

Page to Screen Book Club: Our book club continues to meet once a month on a Tuesday night throughout the summer. The next meeting is Tues., July 30 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss “Orange is the new Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison” by Piper Kerman. We will have copies for you to checkout at the Library.

Artist of the Month: Kensington is very fortunate to have so many talented, local artists. The Library would like to showcase their work and will be exhibiting them on a monthly rotation. Paula Singer, noted local photographer, will display her work during the month of July.
