KINGSTON – The Friends of the Library will host their annual voting day bake sale on Tues., November 6 at Swasey Gymnasium. The Friends will be selling all types of tasty baked goods, as well as soup and chili. Donations of baked goods are always welcome. Please drop off on Mon., November 5, by 6:00 p.m. at the Library. To sign up, call 642-3521, or email info@kingston-library.org.

Local artist Dannielle Genovese, will lead a group of fifteen in creating their own water color painting that can be used for Holiday cards on Wed., November 7, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. There is a materials fee of $15.00 (this includes the use of brushes, paints, two piece of watercolor paper per student and plates (pallette) and cups for water). Call to sign up.

Staff & Patron Cook-Off: Drop in on between 4:00-6:00 on Thurs., November 8, to sample literature inspired food created by the staff and patrons. Copies of recipes and their inspirational literature will be on display all week!

Calling All Twihards – ages 12+. Join us for a night of Twilight inspired games, trivia, food, activities, and music on Tues., November 13, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Everyone who attends will be entered to win a Twilight prize! Space is limited so sign up early!

The Children’s room is the place to be this month with Pre-school Story Time on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. with Ms. Karen and Book Babies, a story time class of literacy skills for children 0-36 months, runs every Monday at 10:30 a.m. until November 12 with Ms. Sue.

  • Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown, 66

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
