NHS Says ‘Thanks’

On behalf of The Newton Historical Society, I would like to thank the Merrimac Savings Bank for their ongoing support including graciously hosting our recent 2012 Fall Festival fund raising event. This was our sixth annual Fall Festival and the bank lobby was filled to capacity. It was a wonderful evening that helped increase awareness about the Newton Historical Society and was an opportunity to share a bit of Newton’s history and artifacts with the community. This year, we had several new residents in attendance who had the opportunity to meet their neighbors as well as a number of elected town and state officials.

In addition to the support of Merrimac Savings Bank, I would also like to recognize and thank the residents of Newton who attended and the following businesses that also provided sponsorship support of the event including: 108 General Store, Acio’s Family Takeout, Acorn Recording Solutions, Acapulco Mexican Restaurant, Avon Products, Tess Moulaison, Merrill Bartlett Group Inc., Cheryl K. Perkins Assoc., Clean-Right Janitorial Svc., Continental Biomass Ind., Desjardins Landscaping, Doggett Jewelry, Dingo Creative, Estabrook’s Garage, Father & Son Construction, Fiorello & Migliori, Folsom Promotions, Gantz Law Office, Garrison Electric, Giannatsis Electric, Haverhill Bank, Healey, Deshaies, Gagliardi & Woefel, Highland Family Dental, James F. Mullen Co., Journeay Insurance, ICBA Securities, Koch Architects, LPO Marketing Communications, Lewis Builders, Lowell Five Cents Savings, McInnis Auctions, Moulaison Tire, NewBama Steel, Newburyport Five Cent Savings, Newton Greenhouse, Newton Learning Center, Pentucket Bank, Regnante, Serio & Osborne LLP, Stark & Cronk Heating, Atty.
