Knights Successful Golf Open

Knights Successful Benefit

St Jude Council #6617 of Plaistow/Atkinson/Newton/Kingston recently held their 18th annual St Jude Golf Open to benefit two local families who are in need of assistance due to some very serious health related issues. The Open was a sell out. The Knights want to thank all of the golfers who participated, the many businesses who donated to the Open and all of the volunteers who helped on the Course and prepared our steak BBQ.

The Platinum Sponsor of the Open was Patch Services of California. The Silver Sponsors were Enco Inc of Plaistow and Pest End of Plaistow.

The Hole Sponsors were Blinn Auto Body, B&J Auto Body, Bob Leavitt Auto, Embryotech Labs, Pinnacle Physical Therapy, Century Copier Specialists, Casey’s Diner, Signal Variety, Dr Robert Perreault DDS, Estabrook Garage, DJB Trucking, Waterline Industries, Hills Insurance Agency, Garrison Golf Center, Bump and Grind Auto Body, Brookside Funeral Home, Dr Joan Kimball, Dave’s Sporting Goods, Foods Plus, World Wide Tech Services, K of C Council #140 of Portsmouth, Knight Bill Greenwood and last but not least, Honorary Knight Charlie Manes.

The following golf courses also donated a foursome with carts for our silent auction: Bradford Country Club, Brookside Golf and Driving Range, Crystal Springs and our hosts for the day, Apple Hill Golf Course. The Knights would also like to thank Westville Grand Rental, Red’s Shoe Barn, and Atkinson Country Club for their donations to the Open.

Plans are already underway for the 19th St Jude Open which will be held on June 7, 2014.
