---- — Something to think about

A petition to the Fremont School Board ‘demanding’ that a ‘committee’ be appointed to select a new District Superintendent was delivered by some residents to the Board. The Board decided not to form a committee and appoint the ‘interim’ Superintendent to a five year contract.

Good move by the Board! We need some ‘long term stability’. We have too many ‘committees already. One of the petitioners said, “We were surprised to learn of the vote to offer the job to Cox. She only spent four months on the job”.

So, using that train of thought, why would you ever offer the job to someone with ‘zero months on the job’?
