Thanks for Your Support

Wreaths Across America in East Kingston and Fremont

Carriage Towne News

---- — Wreaths Across America in East Kingston and Fremont would like to thank the hundreds of citizens who visited the donation table in front of Market Basket and Walmart in Epping, and Ben Franklin/Ace Hardware in Raymond. Your donations help provide Wreaths of Remembrance that will be laid on veterans gravesites in both towns during the holiday season.

Your generosity not only honors those who have served and have passed on, but also supports the homeless veterans serviced at the Liberty House in Manchester, and the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center in Haverhill, MA.

We met veterans who served in Vietnam, family members of WWI and WWII vets, young mothers and children of dads serving in Afghanistan, and a family whose mom served in the Marines. Thanks to the parents and grandparents who had their little ones put their donations in the jar, and the employees and managers who graciously assisted us during this fundraising effort. It was a pleasure listening to the stories told and being able to personally thank you for your service and your donations. We are so very grateful that your hearts were touched by the word “veteran”.

Donations for this year’s fundraiser continue through November 22. If you wish to make a contribution, please call me at 603-895-6658. Thank you.
